Gyula Halvax Kaposvár, 1906-1984, Budapest Painter. He was a student of József Rippl Rónai in Kaposvár, then studied painting with Imre Révész in Kecskemét. In 1929, he obtained a drawing teacher's certificate at the Budapest College of Fine Arts, where he was taught by Gyula Rudnay. After his study trip to Italy and France, he painted at Lake Balaton and in Somogy county. In 1931 he had a solo exhibition in the National Salon and in 1934 in Fiume
