Andrea Pézman was born in Komárom (Slovakia) in 1975 and currently lives and works in Bratislava. In 1999, he became an architect at the Faculty of Architecture of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, then in 2005 he became a graphic artist at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, where he obtained the title of Doctor of Arts in 2018. He is currently an assistant professor at the Graphic Arts Department. He regularly exhibits in Slovakia, Hungary and abroad. Winner of numerous domestic and international competitions. His works can be found in the collections of several renowned institutions: MAK Wien, Mead Art Museum at Amherst College (USA), Instituto de Artes Gráficas, Oaxaca (Mexico), Galéria mesta Bratislavy (Slovakia).
