He studied in Budapest, Munich and Paris. Later on he made further progress in Nagybánya, where he produced plein air images. Especially the Art Nouveau artwork published by L'Aiglon and its graceful art deco paintings. They also painted Bible-related compositions, which have a decorative effect despite plastic molding. His works with secession inspiration over time lead to the art deco style depicted as a rare phenomenon of contemporary Hungarian painting
