DESCRIPTION
Dietrich Adolf Pest, 1869-1953, Jászkisér
Painter. He began his art studies in Graz and then completed them in Budapest. His masters: Béla Spányi, Zsigmond Vajda. In 1936 he received the recognition of the Fine Arts Society. He made a longer study trip to Paris, Italy and Germany. From 1916 he regularly participated in group exhibitions at the Műcsarnok and other domestic and foreign exhibition venues. Several of his works can be found in the collection of the Hungarian National Gallery.
