Karoly Bojtor Mátraverebély, 1933-1999, Budapest
Painter. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, his masters were Gyula Pap and Endre Domanovszky. He often worked at the Kecskemét Artists' Camp. In 1977 he had a solo exhibition at the Műcsarnok, but he also had exhibitions in Hungary (Szombathely, Debrecen, Pécs, Szeged) and abroad (Vienna, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Canada). His figurative works were characterized by a realistic approach. His works have won numerous prizes, and he was a Derkovits fellow from 1967 to 1970. His works are in the National Gallery, Szolnok and Veszprém.
