DESCRIPTION
János Blaskó (Budapest, 7 August 1945 -) Munkácsy Mihály Prize-winning Hungarian painter, studied at the High School of Fine and Applied Arts between 1959 and 1963, his master was József Somogyi. Between 1964 and 1971 he was a student at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied with Sándor Mikus. He has been exhibiting since 1969. Between 1973 and 1988 he lived in Vác, and from 1988 he worked in Budapest and Zsennye. Since 1993 he has been teaching at the Berzsenyi Dániel Teacher Training College in Szombathely.
