Painter. His first master the Kecskemét colony of artists was Révész Imre, followed by the Academy of Fine Arts Benkhard management of Augustus himself 1927- 1932. An extended study trip to Italy and Germany, which had great influence on his art. 1944 Szolnok taught and worked at the artists' colony there. In 1953, he was a teacher at High School of Fine and Applied Arts. Individual exhibitions were in the capital (Ernst Museum, Adolf Fényes Hall, National Salon) and the countryside (Pécs, Kecskemét, Szolnok) and group exhibitions (Ernst Museum, National Salon, Art Gallery, Szolnok, Paris, Antwerp, Helsinki, Frankfurt). Munkácsy Prize for his work and received the Kossuth Prize. His works are also more controllable in the National Gallery.
