Andrea Pézman (1975, Komárom, Slovakia) is a visual artist and graphic designer, belonging to the middle generation of contemporary Slovak graphic art. Her work is an experimentation with medium and material, both confronting and symbiotic with traditional graphic techniques. All this is not achieved as a primary aim, but as a secondary one, against the background of the dominant artistic aspiration. His works have a poetics of fragile beauty, sophisticated forms and a conceptual background.
In 1999 he became an architect at the Faculty of Architecture of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, and in 2005 he became a graphic artist at the Bratislava College of Fine Arts, where he received his Doctor of Arts in 2018 and is currently an adjunct professor at the Department of Graphic Arts. She has had solo exhibitions in Érsekújvár, Komárom, Győr, Bratislava, Dunaszerdahely and has participated in group exhibitions worldwide.
