DESCRIPTION
He studied in Munich from 1868 until 1873. Then he went to Paris, he worked summers in Barbizon. August von Pettenkofen convened in 1884, visited the artists' colony in Szolnok. In 1887 he became director of the Budapest School of Painting Women. Life Pictures, historical themed works painted, and thanks to a decorative style mural commissioned the preparation of several important works (the Tihany Abbey, the Art Gallery wall paintings) as well.
